You can be creative and wacky - without hurting other people or breaking the law!

I often hear myself saying: “funny to think about, not funny to do.” in reference to some dreadful or tragic situation that probably started off as a funny prank.

It is funny to think about posting doctored pictures of your enemy on the intranet, or cooking up a yummy laxative cake, or using rude words as your test data. But it is definitelynot funny when these actually happen and people get upset or hurt.

It is fine to indulge in violent video games. But absolutely not fine to go around in real life bashing people up or running over them with a truck.

How do we teach practical wisdom without censoring thoughts and ideas (or God-forbid trial people for thought-crimes)?
